Lead Skilled Laborer - Floors
M-F, 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year position
Work under the supervision of the Day Custodial Supervisor or the Night Custodial Supervisor.
Responsibilities may include: floor maintenance, snow removal moving materials throughout the campus and operating and maintaining hand and power equipment.
Responsibilities also include: providing training in the area of floor maintenance methods; coordinate the work of floor maintenance team members; ensure that products and tools are available to the work group, and that they are used safely and effectively; and keep the supervisor informed regarding the pace of work and any concerns that should appropriately be brought to a supervisor.
A willingness and enthusiasm to perform a broad spectrum of job duties, sometimes in inclement weather.
An ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team.
Availability for overtime work and call-in assignments.
A willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
