The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College is seeking candidates for a one-year full-time visiting faculty position in Developmental Psychology to begin fall 2015. This position covers a faculty leave and is not renewable. The Department offers programs in psychology and an interdisciplinary major in psychology and education and contributes to an interdisciplinary program in neuroscience and behavior. The teaching load for this positions is five courses per year. Courses will include introductory, intermediate level content courses, and advanced level laboratory courses or seminars. Applicants should demonstrate that they are prepared to teach one or more of the following core requirements: Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, and/or Research Methods. Qualifications include a doctorate, record of effective teaching at the undergraduate level, and demonstrated interest and plan for scholarly work.
